About the Vare photographs

I took these photographs in the spring of 1972 at a South Philadelphia junior high school. I thought them lost beyond repair until the spring of 2022, when I set out to restore them on my computer. It was a miserable job but it resulted in 73 images that brought back another era, and the remembered joy of taking the photographs.
