About hand coloring
I started hand coloring b&w silver prints around 1971 to indulge my love of color. For me, at the time, making standard color prints was costly and hard to do. And, besides I really didn’t like the feel of the standard color print and felt restricted by a process that didn’t allow many controls for manipulating the image. Almost all my hand colored prints are done with liquid water color.
